The Rhinos would consider a like for like swap for Munyede, not Tino, our batting would not be where it needs to be.

I could use my domestic ratings system, devised last season, and work with this season's results. Every owner would have to pick an XI for the Logan Cup and the Pro50, designate, say, six batsmen and five bowlers, and then we could calculate an average rating for each team in each competition to see who comes out tops. It's a bit complicated, though, and would take some time ... Any more straightforward ideas?
The ratings mean something but so do other stats. Form from this season should not be weighted too heavily. Muzarabani has had a great year on form, but his previous seasons are not as good and that needs to be taken into account as well. Over his career he is a fair way off 3 wickets per game, which is a decent measure for working out whether a bowler is pulling his weight.

I thought maybe a poll could be fun and involve those who haven't been a part of the draft. Pick the franchise with the best FC XI, best List A XI, best T20 XI and best XV.

That would be good for starters, surely. All of us would put forward our best XIs for all 3 formats, and others vote. And the overall XV too.

One of my mates used to run a soccer simulation on another forum. He had a program that would allow you to input the squads and their attributes. Then each round the person would select their team and the system would run the simulation. Not sure how that would work on here though.

With regards to my 14th pick, i am going to wait till the trade thing is cleared up before choosing my pick.

I was thinking that might be the most interactive way of doing it actually. We'd just need to come up with a fair formula. As Jemisi said, some sort of combination between recent form and career form... and then a way so each franchise owner can select an XI and a match "happens".

Don't worry about holding off on using your pick. If we have a trade period it won't be until well after the draft is finished.

There is a few different simulators you can use for cricket matches. I run a Zimbabwe Premier League on another forum. I was tempted to start it over here, but I couldn't work out how to get code boxes to place commentary and scorecards in. :(

So I can help when it's time to have matches with the teams. :)

Well then. Eagles select with their 14th draft pick someone who they believe that can become a genuine all rounder. T Mutombodzi

While we are marching towards the completion of the draft picks, the Mountaineers have been busy with their kits design and acquiring sponsorships. Some details coming up...
