Wow... :6:
That came out of nowhere.

As the set batsman so much rests on Sibanda anchoring this innings now.

Vermeulen, let's be honest, has not looked very composed so far. His challenge is to start reading the spinners better and grind out some sort of score here. As I write that, he cuts Steyn away :4:

I'm hopeful we can eke another 50 out of this partnership, however slow. Eradicate the deficit. If these two can do that, I'll be happy.

I think the Mark Vermuelan of 2003/04 where he played against Australia and India has well and truly passed. He is evidently not seeing the ball as well (and that's fair enough since he's 36 next), but I still think he can do a decent job in tests in terms of grinding out a score.

It looks like the Vermeulen movie isn't going to have a happy ending :(
Not sure he's done enough to stake a claim as a Test specialist for the Bangladesh tour.

Sibanda out now too. Not a great choice of shot. The collapse is upon us :(

So it's down to Taylor to glue the innings back together, same old story.

Piedt looks like the real deal. South Africa have a very good off spinner here.
