Good to see that Neil Ferreira will play for Harare.He is just 29 with a good FC record.I still think that he can resume playing FC cricket again...

Detective RDS you said something before about possibly becoming a psychic/crystal ball reader as your predictions were coming true. Wasn't Ferreira also on your list? Maybe you can add another feather to your cap if that prediction comes true as well!

Mathew Townshend, the former Zimbabwean Under-19 and Matabeleland allrounder, is reported to have opened a cricket academy at Whitestone School in Bulawayo. Townshend is a product of the Harare Sports Club-based Zimbabwe Cricket Academy that was destroyed in an arson attack last October.
He learnt his cricketing skills under the guidance of Dave Houghton and was one of the first intake there. He toured Kenya with a Zimbabwean development team in 2000, Both his father Derrick and uncle Trevor played for Rhodesia in the late 1960s in the South African Currie Cup.

The guys from the Victoria Falls team said they were happy to play alongside the likes of Streak and the Rennie's. Sounds like it was a fun little tournament, and it's good that the folks in Bulawayo were able to see some cricket.
