[Match Thread] West Indies v Zimbabwe (World Cup Pool B)
Re: [Match Thread] West Indies v Zimbabwe (World Cup Pool B)
Right, after that catastrophy, the next question is: do we send in Matsi or Chakabva to open?
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Trust us to play a side that is in a slight disarray and they come out and break another world record. We seem to be breaking all sorts of world records this cup.
Guys still think Kamungozi is a good selection?
Chigs isn't a captain. This was meant to be the game where we could actually threaten, but we have gone and thrown it away. I dont see us getting anywhere near. The openers will go for it, probably lose their wicket then a couple more batsmen will do the same and then it will just be about consolidation. Also, Chatara getting taken off for two beamers. Are we really not working on our bowling control after the first two games. This has got to be up there with one of the worst days ever in my life as a zim fan.
We currently on track for the record of most runs ever conceded at a world cup combined i reckon.

Open with Raza and Chigumbura. It has to happen. There's nothing to lose.

My thoughts exactly. Time for the team to turn up. So many records why not a record chase.grant wrote:Hami's the man.

Just read the commentary on Cricinfo. What a shambles again in the last ten overs. Bowling Williams and Kamungozi. And what was Elton thinking with that 100 ball over. If i was fuming after the UAE innings, then my head has exploded after this.

Not as worse as Hayden's 380 for mezimbos_05 wrote:This has got to be up there with one of the worst days ever in my life as a zim fan.
