Australia are better at playing spin than you're making yourself out to be. Bangladesh will have to play extremely well to not lose 2-0 as things stand now. 5 years from now should be a different story.

On current form I think Rabada may be the superior bowler to Steyn in ODIs. He bowled a few absolute peaches so far. You have to remember Rabada is a very hyped up prospect which means something coming from South Africa where they have dozens of seamers who could walk into Indian, Sri Lanka, West Indies teams. Vitori was impressive in his debut but the conditions and strenght of opposition were vastly different.

We have been comprehensively beaten in our last 6 tests in the sub continent it's not just our batting but also our bowling which struggles, still confident we will win 2-0 but will be interesting to see how it all turns out .....

2-0 to OZ is definitely the odds on favorite result. However, I wouldn't be surprised if we drew a Test and went down 0-1. I'd be tickled if we drew 0-0 like against NZ a couple years back.

In other news, Mustafizur has been called up to the test team. Been waiting for this moment for a long while...a decade in fact since Shahadat Hossain debuted and eventually disappointed. Mustafizur is without doubt the most skilled fast bowler BD have produced yet. Action very similar to Amir's and his youth combined with his intelligence really reminds one of Mohammad Amir. Best thing is he's a teenager and already hitting the low 140 km/h to go with oodles of accuracy and control. I didn't think it was possible for any of our seamers to impress more than Taskin given how good he's been, but Mustafizur has been simply superlative.

If Taskin and Muztifar can stay injury free BD should have a pace attack to challenge in any conditions .....

170 needed to close South Africa out. That would make it 7 wins from 9 at home since the world cup. I was hoping for 3 or 4. I hope the BCB is able to schedule some games 9 for the year is about half what we should be playing. But now I cant wait for the ICC ranking update next may. We should jump to 6th easy.

Great stuff from Bangladesh, Soumya Sarkar - what a find he is.

I bet Steyn feels like a right idiot now after his comments.

Steyn said about 2 months ago that he didnt want to waste the few overs he has left bowling in BD or ZIM. I believe he meant ODIs only as he has never really been a big ODI player. He will be playing the Tests as was the plan all along. He was cussed out on his twitter feed by overly emotional BD fans. We have the most passionate and overly emotional fans. Pak amd Ind have the most obnoxious fans.

I didn't appreciate Steyn's comments but as the best bowler in his era he's earned the right to diss whoever he wants.

Thanks for the wishes, gents! Need to rest up before the Tests.

After this series this thread will most likely be dormant for a few months.
