I axtually don't rate anyone in the current side, except Ervine and Cremer, and even then only slightly. Oh I do rate one guy, Chakabva. Williams to me is a whimsical player...he has talent but I feel like his heart ain't in the game. I think a host of players are over rated, starting with Chigs (altho people seem to come to grips with him). Raza to me is another Hami, good enough to beat Associates and might occaisionally tease against top sides but will throw it away when a Taylor would have kicked in to see the job through.
That's not an unfair point of view, but you do realize that we need to play a Zim XI, not a Zim III? ;)

I'm a great Hammy fan, but of course he would struggle to make my side if we had BT, Ballance, Welch & Byrom (in their early twenties, averaging 50 in county cricket), and Deliverance Mawauiyka & Sixes Chatumboyi (averaging 150 in the Logan Cup) available, but we haven't.

I like the idea of Jongwe at the top of the order for ODI Matches- he does average 39 in that position after all :D

Foreignfield, I stand by my opinions on Hammy. But my original post was when ZIM was 40-5 and I expected ZIm to bundled for 70 odd with an 8 wicket win for AFG.

That being said yes I know the backups are not as good, but it really can't hurt to try eh?

Thing is though, they did just try it.... It failed.

The problem is that unlike every other country, there is no junior supply anymore. They scurry away to England or to things like dayjobs. That's the problem and it's a horrible one and needs to be addressed, the talent pool is small as it is.

These selectors are full of it. How can they drop Ervine who puts in runs here and there yet persist with Waller who really does nothing in the side. No runs doesn't bowl. What does he contribute really. Gotta be the new team mascot.

Just watched the highlights. madziva was getting it above 130 quite a bit and seemed faster than that muzarabani fellow. Jongwe+ seemed to have some extra gas in this match. noor ali wicket was class yorker

The outswinger from Madziva that got nabi was clocked at 84 mph so good to see this Zim bowler stepping on the gas (relative terms)
The last two games Madziva has played he has effectively won the games for zim, lets give the lad an extended run
