Indeed. By the way, I've heard Brightness Chakabunga has links all the way up to ZC Chairman and none other than the patron himselfKriterion_BD wrote:but the ZC's corruption is only less astonishing than how the ICC let them get away with for over a decade!

Will be interesting to see what pace Mupariwa bowls at today..... Don't think these guys are bowling any quicker than Mupariwa....zimlover wrote:I can not believe it, our fastest bolwer is struggling to hit the 130 km/hr mark on the speed gun, no wonder why our batsman are useless

Re: [Match Thread]: Zimbabwe vs India, 3rd ODI
Mupariwa's quickest so far has been 81.7 mph this match (~132 kph).....
But he's been struggling with his line............
He should just concentrate on his strengths and bowl accurately.......
But yeah, his average speed is only 77 mph..........

Well if the whites didn't run from the game/country we would be OK. Who's fault is it really.Kriterion_BD wrote:The ZC admins killed the game. Perhaps it was never sustainable to begin with at first glance Zimbabwe seems a strange nation to be playing anything the highest level (so does Sri Lanka)...but the ZC's corruption is only less astonishing than how the ICC let them get away with for over a decade!CrimsonAvenger wrote:Top post, Kriterion! The 2 Division system will probably put Zimbabwean cricket out of its misery.

Re: [Match Thread]: Zimbabwe vs India, 3rd ODI
I thought the idea of 2 divisions of test cricket would sustain actually Zimbabwe- providing they stayed in the top 12. Dave Richardson was quoted as saying the monies generated from T20 cricket was more than enough to sustain 2 divisions & Zimbabwe are only obligated to 4 home tests every 2 years.
As low as Zimbabwe are right now, they aren't the 13th ranked team. The administrators have a few more years of pilfering yet.
