Aliseni bowled really rapid and had the crowd excited and rallying behind him but many nicks went through the slips.. He's really rapid (over 140kph every ball). Shingi bowled well.. Nyauchi tried to keep things tight but lost his way at the end..

If Aliseni was consistently over 140 he wouldn't be playing in front of 100 people at HSC.

Yes, they have now corrected it. I was quite excited there for a moment that Dewald had made a stunning comeback after 10 years! I guess Blignaut isn't the only one who can make comebacks on cricinfo.CrimsonAvenger wrote:I guess it is a mistake by Cricinfo as usual. It must be 27 year old Dwaine Pretorius: http://www.espncricinfo.com/India/conte ... 27830.htmleugene wrote:Interesting to see 38 year old Dewald Pretorius playing for SA A. He was quite the story back in 2002 when he made his test debut against Australia due to his tough upbringing in an orphanage.

After watching SA A play in our conditions especially Harare sports club you wonder what happened to the famous helpfull conditions which are often eluded to by our Batsman when we bat first,
When other teams are playing turns out Harare sports club is a good old batsman paradise

Re: Zim A vs SA A (Match Thread)
Shingi picks up his third wicket. Probably a shoe in for the New Zealand tests now. Aleseni has been very disappointing. Maybe give Vitori a run out next match or matigimu.
Re: Zim A vs SA A (Match Thread)
How is it the Aliseni has played only 4 FC games from his debut in 2010. Seems he still has some pace about him though. Wonder if he is serious about his game now?
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

Re: Zim A vs SA A (Match Thread)
The batting test has begun, and Tino is reinventing himself with a 200.00 strike rate ... after three balls. Our tail starts at no. 4, so get ready for a massive follow on.
Re: Zim A vs SA A (Match Thread)
Hope Tino can ton up and get back into the side
