I don't know if tino can make it back and be successful.

that picture of him in the academy makes him look very fat. There's fit fat (hammy) and then there is flabby fat and he was the latter. It's also rumoured he was the one watermelon threatened at KFC so he obviously has an eating issue, why he can't score a run perhaps is due to this.
In the sun after an hour they will start panting and concentration wanes

Good start by Chari and Mawoyo ! Smashing Viljoen around is no mean feat ! Suprising seing as he bowls 145+ regularly

solid again from chari, looks like a very good batsman
strike rate & rotating strike occasionally is his biggest
downfall in modern cricket & seems quite steady 0
pressure in 5 day cricket. 1 player for the future we
need to keep & give regular game time burl & chari
myt be a solid opening partnership someday with
gary chirimuuta @ 3 . Mawoyo wasnt that bad which
myt mean this is a flat out dead pitch nothing whatsoever
for the bowlers to work with & losing his wicket to
a spinner bowled seconds that, guess will have to see
how they play that early morning swing first ..for the
bowlers the fact that shingi was our best speaks volumes
of how shit & empty our cabinet is, how we lose daily
to associates. We offer zero intimidation at all no pace,
no swing, no aggression, no accuracy we really needto work
on that aspect of a game ..Guess i myt have to say
well done coz i thought the match should have
been wonby sa now already kudos for taking them to
day 3 personnel wise

Pace without accuracy has the Vusi Sibandas salivating mate, even Brian Chari over there :P.

So, excellent day for Zimbabwe then; Brian Chari ends on 71 which means he's certain to play the next warm in Bulawayo and maybe snatch one opening slot for the Tests. (He probably will on this effort alone). And Shingi Masakadza gets three wickets. This means he too will play the next warm up I should think. Hope he puts up an even stronger performance to get a seamer's slot alongside Chatara and Panyangara. God knows we need more players picking themselves in squads by performances rather than Chigumburas and Marumas for Tests because we've run out of options. The younger Masakadza can bat as well so that is a real coup if he does well.

So probably a bit early but the team might be shaping up as follows:

1. Brian Chari
2. Vusi Sibanda????
3. Hamilton Masakadza
4. Sean Williams
5. Regis Chakabva
6. Mutumbami/Waller???
7. Elton Chigumbura
8. Shingi Masakadza
9. Tinashe Panyangara
10. Tendai Chatara.
11. Graeme Cremer.

Of course Cremer will bat higher up, just included those show we will likely have three seamers
despite playing in Bulawayo.

Or maybe John Nyumbu if he performs in the 2nd warm up for one of the seamers. Who knows?

There's Tiripano as well; its possible the not-fully-to-his-best Chatara might miss out.

I really think by Zim standards Chari has nailed his opening spot now. Question is who's going to open with him?

Would have loved to see Vusi Sibanda at four but that middle order is crowded and Hamilton Masakadza won't be moved from three just to accommodate Vusi. Nice headache for selectors to have when Sean Williams is not out injured, Vusi is performing and Waller is batting cool as cucumber.

Which means drop Elton and find another opener somewhere??? Your thoughts?

And, or, I forgot Craig Ervine. Does he fit in?

Well, they have taken it to day three because SA took all of two days to bat innit? :) Yep, I think that pitch is dead flat.

Well Viljoen didnt top the wickets list in the Sunfoil Series for nothing I guess.

How are you deliberating Ervine not being included?

a zc board member maybe... nyauchi was faster than
aliseni overated & overweight player. the only
zimplayer in this playing age i have seen hitting
140 is a 19 year old matigimu
Hahaha.. Well Mr Sixes Fan, the much vaunted Hardus Viljoen could hardly get it to the keeper without the ball bouncing.. He was taken apart by Mawoyo and especially Chari.. Aliseni is definitely quicker than him because he was getting them through to the keeper.. Those SA bowlers are overrated.. Chari looked solid and pulled and drove them comfortably.. I am a ZC employee who says what he sees and knows a bit. Nyauchi bowls 130km/h max my friend..

Because he's terrible poor against spin and a walking wicket in all the Test matches I have watched him play. Not so Waller, and even Mutumbami who has the numbers in the past two years to back it up.
