Only positive I see is the bowling attack.

Blessing
Ngarava
Evans
Raza
Wellington

That is a very decent bowling attack. In fact a very good one.

Bennett, Raza and Burl... Those are the only three batters in the squad who can do anything of note.

Hate to say this but even Luke Jongwe was better than Musikewa and Madhevere is a better option than Marumani, Madande or Myers.

Curran ahead of Taylor and Mavuta (if he is still around) or any bloody spinner ahead of Cremer would have been good.

I'm assuming Naqvi is simply not considered but is he eligible now at the start of the new year?
Who knows what the exact date is but might be better for him to start fresh after the T20 World Cup and the fallout.

Bit surprised to see Wessley missing out. Marumani there and he will likely start in all the games. Will be an interesting tournament.

Taylor is only there because Williams is nowhere to be found. I guess this marks the official end of his career. All 5 of ervine taylor williams cremer raza will retire this year, even if they try to stay fit in an attempt to play 2027 wc at home, only 2 or 3 might play since injuries are a constant at this age.

So no Antum Naqvi? He is eligible to play now. Clearly ZC doesnt wanna have a shot at the semis. I used to think Zimbabwe somewhat struggled with talent but now I am sure the management is racist. Maposa musekiwa tony wellington marumani myers? make it make sense there is no quota. Wellington might come in handy in the subcontient, but why no place for naqvi curran welch campbell jongwe? Naqvi qualifies as a quota player himself.

The squad should have been raza ervine williams taylor cremer naqvi curran welch bennett campbell muzarabani ngarava evans burl madande

I saw the Namibian T20 squad announcement, and what surprised me is that they announced their coaching staff's names too. When is Zimbabwe going to do that?

Nick, Ben and Shumba are doing ok in the current domestic T20. I think we will see changes after the world cup. Got a feeling BT, Tony and Dion are on thin ice.

Nick Welch has blasted a lot of 6's in his innings today. So frustrating for him I bet
