I see your point but I think Wes has enough ability as a bowler to justify developing as an all rounder. He’s a much better bowler than, say, Shumba. And Myers with his military medium too. If I were them I’d concentrate purely on batting, yes. But Wes is genuinely a more than decent bowler and I think it’d be a shame if he dropped that completely.

Definitely not doubting his ability. I think just looking at how things have gone and where we are currently at with him, perhaps we need to have a think about what his role is and how he develops.
