Strange to drop players for a final but i guess this is just a warm up.
Yeah, they've rotated throughout this whole cycle.

Hlabangana, Patel and Madhidhi would make the strongest XI?

Yeah they would be the three i would put straight in.

Seem to maybe be one batter short.

Who knows what Liam Mudenda does but if i was an NPL club. I would try and coax him for next year.

I watched Mudenda in the nets a couple of years ago before he went to SA. He was certainly better than other guys his age , but he wasn't a kid that you'd stop and go wow. But then years later he's turned out some really good stats in a much more competiitive environment.
It would be good to have a look at him in a few club games here and see where he is really at.
I wonder if he's approached any SA franchises? They don't like Zimbabweans at all.
Next question is will he be going to university? If not will he by-pass club level and get a franchise spot? The pathway is club then franchise.

These ZC guys love squad rotation. I'd have thought that a decent showing in that game would have been vital PR, which seems all-important. It is important, this sign-up thing and the way they've gone about selection is going to have the usual blow-back. It's no different to any year, we have not fielded our strongest side in any age group or senior side in the last 20 years. Maybe they don't think there's much difference between their squad members? For me Hlabangana and Patel are way above the others, bar the Blignauts. I mean way above.
In fact that last rained off game there was a post stating that Hlabangana was padded up and itching to get on the field to take it to the Pakistanis, then he doesnt get picked for the very next game? It doesnt make sense.

I quite like Muradzi as well.

The numbers aren't really backing me up at the moment, but he shapes up nicely.
