Damn, Mushangwe stumped, i didn't mean that confident Natsai ....... :D

71-8 and i think the chances of a Zim win are slowly slipping away .........

Wicket: T Chitara (b Shahzaib Ahmed 0). Zim U19 71/8 (30.3 overs).

I have a burning need to make a Thundercats gag. Must... resist...

Was there ever a chance after that first-ball duck anyway?

I better say this quietly in case it gets him out, but ......

A Zimbabwe side can never be considered to have lost the game while there's a Price at the wicket ;)

Yes indeed, Price is still there but i have to admit, at 83-9, things are looking decidedly in Pakistans favour at the moment ....

This is not good start to the series these lads must be taught the basics that is to keep the score board ticking from a very tender age Curran has got to show us that he is doing someting this is the future of zimbabwe cricket :

Pakistan 211 (49.2 overs; Hammad Azam 37, Kaia 5/24), Zimbabwe 86 (34.5 overs; Chirimuta 22, Shahzaib Ahmed 4/15). Pakistan U19 win by 125 runs.

Very poor outing. Hopefully the T20 tomorrow will be more to the guys' liking...

86 all out and a 125 run defeat is not a pretty sight by any means, hopefully the lads will have picked up a few tips by playing against this Pakistani side who obviously have a lot of advantages, as a team, that the Zim boys don't, all i'd like to see in the subsequent games is some effort to learn from the mistakes that they are bound to make, but mostly i'd like to see them being encouraged to take the fight to Pakistan and not just sit back and take defeat as though it's just what's going to happen, there are no lessons to be learned from that sort of attitude.

Bring on the rest of the series, the bowlers have shown today that they can do a good job, all it needs now is for the batsmen to do the same thing.

The Under 19s have the opposite problem of the senior side it seems: good bowling, bad batting. Perhaps if we combined the bowlers of the Under 19 side with the batsmen of the senior side we would create an unstopable team.
