Yup, that's the man. Receiving "bowler of the series" award at the recently concluded CSA Cubs week. This question came up because foreignfield was wondering in the youth tri-series thread as to how this lad looked now, as we had featured him once from his pre-U13 days already: http://zimcricketforums.com/viewtopic.p ... 490#p46417

By the way, why has he not played for us after the first match of this youth tri-series? Any idea? I thought he was now part of the SA system, but was pleasantly surprised to see him turn out for us. May be CSA saw him in our XI and quickly objected to him playing and took him away?

Ya that's confusing, I would think him turning out for Zim would white list him off the SA provincial radar. Maybe he wants the World Cup experience, because he's not going to get it in SA colours. He's not likely to get a look in at SA franchise level when he's older either. A lot of these boys are having a harsh reality check seeing there's virtually no opportunity to play professional cricket in SA or Zim.

ICC should open up a Test slot for disenfranchised white Saffers and Zimbos, they would be in the top 5.

497. A promising batsman with FC experience whose career, like many others of his generation, ended before it really began. Who is he?

Well, you could have given other clues that would have still kept it open :) But did not know Glenn Goosen was actually related to umpire Quintin. So, there it goes...
