Zimbabwe end on 192-9 relatively competitive seeing the two batting sides struggle on the same pitch yesterday. Oldrieve and madhevre need to come to the party now

He will get much better cricket there than here. If he's a world beater he'll stay there. I'm feeling really low about Zim today. I've always held out hope that under the right management/leadership that we can rescue the situation but we are in real trouble now. There was an article stating that these thieving traffic police collected 59 million in the last 12 months. Those are receipted fines, which will be less than half of what they actually collect. If you assume $10 a fine on average and a 14 hour day for the cops it works out to be about 2000 fines an hour. I don't see them fixing the urban roads without introducing some kind of road levy either. The much needed water is devastating our infrastructure. Aluta Continua.

just read the sl u19 team has 143 international games
whilst we only have 55 so competing against them is
the best result we could get

They choose from hundreds of good players. We choose from a few dozen, plus our guys are younger. We actually do ok up to u16 and then lose ground. It's when their boards start putting them in Academies and giving them specialized attention that we fall behind. We could give the good kids a leg up by playing them up one or two age groups at school. I rarely see this and it's because parents complain. Plus of course the boys could play club, but they don't seem that interested.

Surely, we are capable of beating SL at least once out of 3 times given all the cricket we have played of late?...

Apparently not. Time to hide somewhere.

Ouch. Maybe some random teenagers are not quite ready to play full international cricket yet...

Zimbabwe Under 19 shouldn't be blamed, they are down due to lack of infrastructure & grooming policy of ZC. Sri Lanka Under 19 plays lots of top level cricket with their seniors in domestic tournaments as a result their skills and ability will be better then Zimbabwe Under 19s.
Robo to rule
