Sadly there is a very easy answer fellow Rhino, there are so few seam bowlers qualified as 'English' now, especially with the new rules on overseas and kolpak for next year, that the counties are going to have to hold onto any player that looks remotely like a bowler.
To give Aga his due, he has been injured for a large part of the season, we had Aga, Chris Liddle and Pepler Sandri at Hove this year and they hardly played a game between them due to illness and injury, it seems that all three will be back again next season for a 'last chance' to prove they are good enough, we can only hope that's true.
Aga looked quite quick last year, he has a tendency to bowl bad balls every over and release any pressure he's put on the batsman, his batting was never what it should have been and his fielding was very lazy at times, those who know him well all say what a nice lad he is, but next year will need to see him being rather more than nice i think if he wants to stay in the game.

327 is a bit too much, lets hope its a flat wicket and we will also come gunz blazing and set Kenya a reasonable first innings lead. We cant afford to slip by a bit in our first innings because of the 1st innings points thing. I'm worried about Javis, he hasnt gotten a wicket all day, lets hope he was just having an off day cuz Bangladesh will take him to the cleaners...
12.4 Odhiambo to Vermeulen, FOUR, that's an appalling long hop, Vermulen had plenty of time to get into position, drink a cup of tea, and pull the ball towards the long leg boundary- his first boundary today

To be honest Im dont have much faith in our batting line up. I really hope they will prove me wrong. I think we have too many bowlers in the line up. This game many turn up to be a draw thats if our batsman come to the party, so we really need a first innings lead for the bonus points.
With all the hype thats put on this forum for these overseas players, Jarvis in particular, we really havent seen much return now have we. His figures arent all that bad lets hope he takes some wickets. And I will reiterate, HOPE. I wonder were Jarvis has been playing his cricket. College perhaps????

Cricket Archive shows that Jarvis has played 2 games for Pretoria University since his last U19 appearance

As i've said before, most of the returning players have played little more than club cricket since leaving Zim and, while it's good for Zim cricket that they are back, expectations have been rather high regarding their early impact, once they have a few games under their belts then we should begin to see whether they can really add positively to Zim cricket.

A nice quick finish to the Kenyan innings this morning as Jarvis picks up his maiden first class wicket.
333 all out and some big effort needed here to try and stop Kenya from gaining the first innings lead.

46 extras is one, two many. Rainsford and Jarvis have 20 between them. And 12 byes, Mutizwa should really clean up his act he looks a bit suspect to me. This is an honest Judgement I went to xool with th dude, so I would really want to see him doing well. He strikes me as the Taylor kinda keeper. If it goes down leg... start your prayers!!!!

I remember heath steak saying zimbabwe was looking for a fast bolwer because that was the reason why zim lost the series aganist the bangladesh.I think streak and the boys are looking for someone with that potential and they have identified jarvies as the one.The boy is quick and tall and all he seemed to lack was his accuracey which I think heath streak willl be working on.Yes its not fair on the other boys who are sweating it out on the domestic front but hey , sport is all about winning .This boy can be our diamond in the ground like Ronaldo was at munu united.Lets give the kid the support and the time he deserves and I believe we now have the right people making selection decisions.
