We are really in a stop of bother now. And where has Strydom appeared from these people at cric info continuing with thier magic tricks. Lets hope he gets us some runs. I will call him Phantom Strydom!!!

I think that Strydom appearing is pretty obvious really, just look at his initials, GM Strydom, that's Gregory Mwakayeni Strydom

Can't understand why Chibhabha opened though, does he normally open ? no, it really annoys me when sides play silly with peoples normal positions, Kasteni should have opened with Sibanda, Chibhabha at 3 then Chakabva, Mutizwa, Strydom and Maruma, now we have out of position players dropping like flies and are struggling big time at 85-4 with, according to cricinfo, Masakadza in at 6.

ZC should be taking these games SERIOUSLY, otherwise there's no point in playing them.

Well done to Vusi Sibanda anyway, 50 for him.

Playing people in unfamiliar positions really does have an effect. Its put more pressure on them and rather than playing thier normal game the try do new stuff which normally results in a disaster. I had my doubt about this batting line up. We shld really pick players on thier strengths. Take a player like Maruma his a bowler period. If he gets a few runs then thats a bonus. And I honestly dont get the idea of bringing in Shingirai Masakadza ahead of Mutizwa, Chakabva..... Lunch Watchman perhaps! :? :?

Assuming we can believe anything about this game on cricinfo, wicket number 5 has now gone.

117-5 in the 33rd over is the latest, Sibanda 71*, with Mutizwa 12* now at the wicket and Chakabva still to come.

Who can tell if Strydom is really playing or not ? if he is then shouldn't he have had a few overs yesterday when Ouma and Tikolo were together ? i have my doubts if this will be the last change to the Zim XI

I think, Gregory Strydom is playing while Kamungozi and Mwakeni missing out as both of them didn't bowl in the Kenyan innings.

I noticed an interesting fact a while ago. CricInfo suddenly made Gregory Strydom the captain of the team  and again after a while they got right making the actual captain Vusimuzi Sibanda the captain in the scorecard.

For the batting prospective of Zimbabwean XI, well done Vusimuzi Sibanda. With a FC batting average of 40+ under his belt, Forster Mutizwa should have been sent ahead of Maruma and S Masakadza at 5. Then Chakabva at 6, Maruam at 7 and then the rest of the bowlers. To be fair, strange batting lineup for me !

Mutizwa gone now as well for 27, a real struggle here at 167-6 and not yet past the follow on score.

Jarvis is in now ahead of Chakabva, more silliness or is Chakabva unable to bat ?

Vusi Sibanda continues his one man show with a superb hundred :D

Get the feeling he's going to be stuck there at the end of the innings. About time he had a decent knock, just a shame he's not getting any support...

Vusi is going nicely but a diaspointing show by Zim ix, he has to score a double 100 for us to get a first innings lead
12.4 Odhiambo to Vermeulen, FOUR, that's an appalling long hop, Vermulen had plenty of time to get into position, drink a cup of tea, and pull the ball towards the long leg boundary- his first boundary today
