Bye bye Jarvis as another one bites the dust, looks as though he's gone trying to hit the new bowler first ball

Still no Chakabva as cricinfo are showing Nyumbu as the new batsman, i wonder if he will bat at all ?

177-7 now with Sibanda 107*

Now that's good news, a change of heart as they have Chakabva as the new batsman :D

I dont see Vusi getting the double hundred as he is fast running out of partners. But all the same great knock from him and its about time too. He should put in more performances like this. The rest not much to talk about. From the state thing we might be in for a hiding here.

I might just have to eat my words. Vusi is going nicely his now on 129n.o. and he is getting great support from Chakabva (32n.o). Zim XI now on 233/7. We trail by 100runs. These guys must just keep the ship steady here no need to rush things. With 78 first class games between them there is some expirience on the park. What are the chances of Vusi going into the double hundreds and Chakabva backing him up with a ton of his own. We shall keep our figures crossed.

That we shall. From where we are now, I'd be more than happy with the 1st-innings points and a draw...

Top man Vusi Sibanda ...... career best score for the 2nd time this season and now he celebrates with a 6 :D

Just the sort of innings that he needs to be playing to give the selectors the nudge again, but he needs to get these sorts of scores much more regularly to convince them.

Past the 250 now which was looking pretty much impossible earlier, good spirit, good fightback, keep it going

yeah never say never, Zimbabwe XI 250/7 Vusi 141....................lets hope they keep on keeping on
12.4 Odhiambo to Vermeulen, FOUR, that's an appalling long hop, Vermulen had plenty of time to get into position, drink a cup of tea, and pull the ball towards the long leg boundary- his first boundary today
