I see that Mike Chinouya has had his figures changed to 5-25, I seem to recall it was 5-18 yesterday, maybe he could have 10-10 by lunchtime ......... I am now hearing that Kaitano has a maiden double century from 40 balls playing alternately left and right handed, get him in the team!!!!!!!

The scoreboard had Bothwell well into the 30s and Prince out for 9. Cricinfo had Bothwell out for 21 and Prince in the 20's. Absolute joke. There was no way that Prince scored any where close to Bothwell. The scoring in general has been disgraceful. Apparently the online scorer didn't turn up yesterday so they texted the online scorer in Bulawayo to put the updates on Cricinfo. The ground staff on the scoreboard were doing a better job than the official scorers. Can't blame Cricinfo, it's the useless and inaccurate scoring that's the problem.
And now it has been abandoned.

Wow, this is a whole new level of horror which we always speculated as a possibility but never thought it might be happening already. We've had discussions here about how it is easy for ZC to cook up scores as thought it is happening live, but here's an unintentional cook up then, thanks to the new levels of lack of professionalism.MidWest Rhinos wrote:The scoreboard had Bothwell well into the 30s and Prince out for 9. Absolute shambles. "Cook up" is a very polite way to describe the mess that ZC has made.CrimsonAvenger wrote:Wow, this is a whole new level of horror which we always speculated as a possibility but never thought it might be happening already. I see they have updated Cricinfo with the correct scores. Bothwell deserved to get a lot more. He looked very good but was run out by Kaitano.
We had a shed load of rain this morning but I still feel it was premature to call the game. Oh well at least they have saved on the hotels, food, match fees etc. Hmmm, I wonder, did they really want the game to carry on? No, stop being so cynical! Of course they did!

There are some decent ones and some dives. Last season the players stayed at City Lodge which is quite unpleasant. Ashkelda and Golden Acres are pretty good but they aren't hotels, more like lodges. The City Lodge name is misleading, it is a hotel. Golden Mile has seen better days and is more like a motel. At the moment the traveling teams are staying at Touchwood which is in need of a touch up but serviceable. There ain't no Premiere Inn here!brmtaylor.com admin wrote:What are the hotels like in Kwekwe?MidWest Rhinos wrote:I see they have updated Cricinfo with the correct scores. Its useless to play four day games now. Pro 50 should be played to provide more experience and prepare for the World Cup Qualifiers

4 day games are a requirement in every way.
