Irish bowlers must be one of the most rubbish attacks going around at the moment - letting skipper Stanikzai even get to a century!
Having said that, Stirling had a sterling performance! 6 wickets with the ball and cruising towards a hundred and guiding Ireland home but stopped by a rubbish decision by the looks of it that triggered a collapse in the end. Robbed of a sensationally rare 5+ wicket haul and 100+ runs in the same match, and most likely a win for his team

His performance truly was sterling but the Irish batsmen looked clueless against Rashid Khan so I doubt he would have made much of a difference. But yeah, the margin of victory would've been much less.
Great to see Ireland win one today. They did a good job neutralizing Rashid.

Afghanistan just can't close a series unless its the 5th game it appears. Look for them to lose the next one before absolutely pulverizing Ireland in the decider.
^Personally, I don't consider T20 to be a reliable index of cricketing ability or skill, either for individuals or teams. I'm a believer in ODIs and Tests only as proper forms of the game requiring proper skills and application.
Yes they are wildly unpredictable, the Afghans. Another batting failure today and on form, Ireland should win it. Will even Ireland get ahead of Zim in ODI rankings at the end of this series?
I can see Afghanistan thrashing the Irish in the decider. An Irish win will bring Zim closer to Afghanistan, but will also narrow the gap between ZIM and IRE.

As predicted. The Afghans should just treat every game they play as a 5th match with the series tied 2-2.
