Don't start that quota talk again. These are the best players in Zimbabwe WHO WANT to play first class cricket.
It was said in jest actually, although I should probably have put a or a in there
If a 5th franchise does come into being again I'd recommend they are sponsored by a Health insurer, then Williams and Ervine could be the central part of the side, they would probably have had fewer injuries if they'd become kamikaze pilots
Eagles have been plucked for 92, HRH King Graeme I with 4-22, Chinouya 3-25, Mumba 2-29, I'm not saying a word about the Rhino batting prospects .......

I told him what you said and you've made his day! But by my count he's third behind Steak and Price isn't he? Who else was there?

He's looking very good. Decent technique and looks to have some grit about him.
And on the stroke of tea we lose one.
Kaitano was looking very good but for one problem. When he was playing Khan off the front foot he had no problems but when he started going back, all of a sudden it was like he was facing a different bowler. So when he played a few deliveries off the back foot the LBW was inevitable. Not nearly short enough to be on the back foot. Result is dragging himself off the field.

Regarding FC wicket takers, could it be Curran and Shingi ahead of Cremer?
In his debut innings he looked really out of his depth early on but then with a crack of a cover drive he was a different batsman. He has looked good ever since and needs to kick on once he's got a start otherwise he'll end up like all the other guys who look good then get out. His dismissal today was more a lack of experience. I think he's good serious potential at the top.
I had a word with John Ward and he agreed Cremer is 3rd. Shingi is quite far behind. But with Curran it becomes a bit complicated. He never played First Class cricket for a Zimbabwean provincial side according to Cricket Archive (why oh why a pay wall?) so do we exclude him? I dunno, I guess it's up to Jemisi! Your call! But with 605 wickets it would put him well ahead of Streak at 499.
Does Chapungu just go for it in every innings? is this a plan and are the team happy for him to risk his wicket so readily?
Yes, he is a much better player when he does that. Bothwell is not really built to defend. When he's playing well he cuts the ball harder than anyone. His cover drive on the up is also something to behold. The problem is when he isn't playing well and his timing is off or he is trying to hit too hard. Today he drilled a beautiful pull and the next ball was the same but the difference was a great catch.
