White privilege does not exist in current day society. I am adamant about that and I refer you to Ben Shapiro, the greatest mind in the US. He literally is the smartest guy in the United States and his views are presented in a flawless way presenting only logic and reason. Look him up.

Blacks simply do not have the stats to be selected. This is very clear. We could trace this to their poor backgrounds, but why are they poor? Why are all African blacks generally poor? (Barring those related to government) It isn't politically correct to say but it all boils down to their culture and how it has failed them all over the continent.

Quotas shouldn't exist in my opinion but this whole theory of saying blacks are poor because of their culture is ridiculous.. you can't spend centuries plundering a continent creating wealth for your own people then turn around and say its their fault they are poor. If reparations were paid for all the wealth taken from us by Europeans it would be a different story. It is actually in the best interests of Europeans to just bark about all the dictators on the continent and do nothing about it knowing that they will never have to worry about reparatios or a Marshall Plan for africa under good leadership. It would bankrupt them.

Anyway I think it's better we stick to cricket and sports in general. The best players should play.. without a doubt

As someone who has checked this forum daily for the last 5 years but never posted it pains me to see divisions being created along racial lines especially when things are starting to look up for cricket as a whole in Zim. I respect that our country has its issues but please this is the last thing the forum needs.

Not in Zimbabwe. I am an American, and stated I was talking about the US. I'm not familiar with Shapiro, but if he believes that white privilige is not a real thing in the US, then he cannot qualify for being the smartest person in the US.

That is unabashedly racist. It is probably not even empirically true, and even if it is, you haven't factored an iota of context into that. Its like saying "white people are inferior to blacks because they have smaller dicks". Totally ridiculous.

Africa is poor compared to what? Europe and North America, right? Its all relative. Where and how did Europe and America amass the wealth that they have?

Despite living in the most life friendly continent on the planet, hardly anything was invented and people lived like savages. Not one sea worthy boat was made, I mean, come on. Quotas must stop, South African and Zimbabwean blacks have just been given absolutely thriving nations in SA and Rhodesia, handed to them on a platter, the rest is history. How can you even begin to debate what has become of these once great nations? There's always someone else to blame and it grinds me so badly !

99.99% of Ben Shapiro might make perfectly good sense, but if the 0.01% is rotten, its all garbage. I'll look him up, but just wanted to get that out there in case he ends up being some Breitbarter or a neo-Nazi or something.

Look, I'm not arguing that black Africans are perfect angels. I'd be an ass if I were. Which is why some context is pretty crucial.

The Atlantic slave trade was started well before the 19th century, my historically challenged friend. My guess would be the 16th or 17th centuries at the latest. And before that, North Africa - still Africa! - was invaded by the Arabs. So Africa as a whole has had over 1000 years of outside people coming, stealing the resources, enslaving the people, and fucking shit up. Now, yes something like 10% of all adults in sub-saharan Africa are infected with HIV/AIDS and that has little to do with white Europeans. But where did I or any rational person say "everything is the white guy's fault" or that blacks are perfect?

Lets just look at recent history and how many things have been complicated by whites/Europeans.

Palestine - that was the British, and maybe they did the best they could, but that place is a mess.
North Korea - communism/Marxism...Marx was a European.
Syria/Iraq - white guys came, did their thing, and now ISIS is running all over. Now the new white guys (Russians) have come in to do their thing.
Rwanda - Belgians came in, created a social class of Tutsis, left and we all watched Hotel Rwanda so we know how that ended up...

In modern times, the only place where white intervention drastically lowered the body count was probably in the subcontinent by partitioning India and Pakistan.

I understand South Sudan is a mess and that has little to do with Europeans. I understand South Africans have AIDS because people can keep their dicks in their own pants. Yes Zimbabwe has Mugabe. But just because I'm an idiot doesn't mean that if you burn my house down, I'm homeless simply because I don't know to build Trump Tower from a bunch of twigs and shoelaces.
