As the previous ones from Masvingo are still lost in transit... Pretty pathetic really.

Matabeleland Tuskers should play with this lineup:

1. Terrence Duffin
2. Bonaparte Mujuru
3. Dion Ebrahim
4. Tafadzwa Ngulube (WK)
5. Keegan Meth
6. Gregory Strydom (C)
7. Matthew Williams
8. Keith Dabengwa
9. Tawanda Mupariwa
10. John Nyumbu
11. Brendan Marsh

I'd give Stev Chimhamhiwa a go ahead of Marsh. It can only help give the lad experience leading up to the U19 World Cup

He played the Faithwear match against the Eagles but was very experience giving away 41 runs in 5.2 overs. So I thought about Marsh... :|

Former Zimbabwe captain Terence Duffin picked up from where he left off when he made a inspiring career best of 144 runs, just six runs shy of a ton and a half. The Matabeleland based side made a massive 322 runs for three wickets. They continue batting on Friday hoping to add on to their total.

Southern Rocks who have stand in captain Steve Tikolo have a huge task ahead them as they bank on Alister Maregwede, Eric Chauluka, Ervine Craig and new signing Thomas Odoyo. Southern Rocks who are yet to bat will be taking no prisoners as they need a win to finish the fifth round of the Logan Cup a place up as they are now on  23 points while the visitors are on 14.

Duffin played an magnificent innings making his century in 170 deliveries after staying at the crease for 211 minutes. Dion Ebrahim played a very supportive roll as made 89 runs bringing their partnership to runs for the second wicket. He was caught by the Kenyan international Tikolo off Chisoro. Bornapate Mujuru made 13 before he was bowled off a Chisoro delivery. Keith Dabengwa (44) and Kegan Meth (20) were at the crease. Southern Rocks Tendai Chisoro was the pick of the bowlers at the end of day one claiming two wickets for 47.Mawhire bowled well with four maidens in 13 overs  giving away 38 runs. Decent bowling was also seen in the form skipper Tikolo.

Tuskers coach Robin Brown is hoping for his first win as he is now under immense pressure to deliver and prove his mantle as one of the best the country has to offer. Play resumes on Friday at 10:30am at Masvingo Sports Club.

Good to see Terry Duffin getting some form back, if we ever get back to Test level he must be one of the leading candidates to open up the innings. Dion Ebrahim has been on fire since his return and must be pushing for a place in the ODI sqaud.

can the Tuskers get off the mark here? you never know miricles do happen ;)

I just hope that Tuskers will get off the mark this time 8-)

It's fantastic that Terrence Duffin made a big one scoring 144 runs. Hats off to him :D

A very well done to Dion Ebrahim who made 89 runs. He will be certainly in the ''A'' team lineup for the next Intercontinental match. Worth noting that he is the country's most experienced test player with 29 test caps under his belt. I would probably fit him at one down in tests.

I hope that Keith Dabengwa and Keegan Meth will go on and make a huge total. I reckon Dabengwa came at no 4 and that means there is still Strydom to come at 6.

For me, Stephan Marillier and Craig Ervine are the Rocks players to watch out for.

congratulations to tuskers..finally all their batsmen made good contribution.554/9dec..highest score of the tournament so far.
Rocks in trouble though.62/6.looks as if the two teams r playing on completely different wickets..lol!good bowling performance by mupariwa taking all four of the rocks top order.
ill be shocked if tuskers don't win this one.
It is important to stand up for what is right.
