Anyone know anything about Trevor Gwandu, who's playing for the Rhinos?
I'm also interested to know.

So many unusual names. Would also like to know how and why they play ahead of the current u19s/recently graduated when there are injury or A/National team created vacancies.

Maybe club cricket, coaches' hunch, jobs fo rthe boys, or some secret underground scouting and inter"squad" matches.

Anyway Gwandu's done ok.

At the stars finish their innings on 179/10, Richard Ngarava needs to take a snapshot of his batting average right now: 32.00!
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Mutombodzi had a good game against a very tough SA Emerging attack.

He had a good game with bat and ball 1st match against Tuskers.

He's done great with the ball this innings.

Can he perhaps follow it up with a century against the Stars like Taylor and book a place in ZIM as one of it's basman/bowler number 8 players?

Wrong thread, gents ;)

Anyway, the Don is quietly outscoring Fozzie for the Goats--or is it the Old Hararian Goats now? His average is slowly creeping up towards 20 (I won't name the names of batsmen who have played for the national side with Fc averages in the low twenties).

There were talks of improvements to the Mutare pitch and ground sometime back, which would have moved some games out of that ground. Is it due to that?
i read somewhere that the Mountaineers are now Mashonaland this season, and the Eagles are Harare. The rising stars are based in Harare too, so only the Rhinos and Tuskers are based outside of the capital.
Mountaineers as Mashonaland? Takes the whole fun of supporting the Mutare region away :(

Donald did well.. I just wish he had more pace.. his batting is very good for a bowler. The mountaineers are a really solid outfit. Missing a couple of key guys but the vets pulled through. Still don't understand why Mutizwa gets overlooked. Another 50. A FC average of 39. What on earth is he supposed to get a chance. If Taylor isn't keeping then just by looking at the stats Mutizwa should be the keeper. Has a better average than Regis Richie and PJ. I feel like we need to start a campaign for him to get in the team. Has a better ODI record than PJ Richie and Regis too. He averages 30 from 17

Just read today that the Rhinos are based at old hararians.. meaning that only Tuskers are not based in the capital.. must be a cost cutting measure
Then they don’t meet the requirements for a test nation.
ICC turn a selective blind eye to what suits them so let’s hope they overlook this as well.

What happened to the "financial injection" that supposedly came with the Pakistani for "safeguarding"?

He'll make a good coach. Understands batting and bowling, plus he's grounded.
