My real name is Eugene, so I went with eugene on ZCF. Not sure why i chose eugene all lowercase and not Eugene. A enduring mystery I guess.

Since we’re on the subject I’ve always been interested to know what ZIMDOGGY’s header is all about ?

For obvious reasons 😂 as a aussie I was watching Aus vs zim at the 2003 world cup on my TV as a young boy and saw bligz just wack the legend aussie team apart and just take it to them , the fact he bowled fast aggressive Seam and batted at number 7-8 was the sort of Crocker I thought I was growing up , obviously no where near the standards of the great andy but as a boy you could only Dream. May favourite cricketer of all time for any country and he started my passion for zim as well as olonga the flower brothers and Heath streak .

How surprised were you when the great man made a comeback around 2010-ish?

I remember it being very bad I believe it was the tri series with India and Sri Lanka ? I recall him bowling his full quota for only 22 runs or something but his pace was only late 120s max which was like getting back with ex , once great , never the same 😊

Ey what did u expect from a fella who had his hair in rainbow colours and had to make a choice between being a cricket or a fashion model. My fav. cricket too remember the 92 in the 2001 Windies test. And yah when he made his come back the pace was gone. For a fella who could hit 145kph it was painful to watch.
