Yeah, him and Guy Whittall, of course.

May be even Barney Rogers.

I put Barney Rogers up with Sean Ervine in the ‘lost Talent’ category he was such a talented stroke maker and actually enjoyed opening and did well doing so which is a rare commodity for Zimbabwe.

As a youngster my interest in Zimbabwe Cricket was at its peak just prior to the Rebellion in 04 and Rogers and Ervine were my two favourites at the time such a shame.

He got man of the series award in that 5 match ODI series vs Bangladesh: http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine ... ype=series

Played really mature cricket and was the calming influence on the team as he set good platforms at the top. 3 50s. I think I did watch a couple of matches in that series. His technique looked compact too.

See how one mention of Rogers deviates topics towards him. We must realize that he must have been really special just by observing that :)

I watched Sean ervine when he was in Aus and got his maiden odi Ton , would have been a very solid era if we never lost so much talent .

Very similar to Craig Ervine

Looks solid, but I know what you mean. Has a bit of AC about him doesn't he.
Would have fitted in lovely right now
