Re: [Logan Cup 2017 Round 2] Mountaineers v Rhinos
So, Bruce is batting at his designated number, which means he was on the field throughout the third innings where he did not bowl. Looks like a bowling related injury? His left arm was already strapped prior to the beginning of the match. Did he have to play as there was no one else available to make up the XI?
Having said that, he hasn't disgraced himself with the bat so far.
Youngsters Kaitano and Power Maruma let a golden opportunity to impress slip by.
Rhinos can actually win this if they go at just above 4 runs an over even now. Will they attempt the win?

Bruce goes for another well played 40, but not good enough in the context of the game.
The nice thing to see here is that the lad can bat, and a left hander too. Prince doing a great job too

Poor man's Blignaut may be
So, stage is set for a typical Madziva nerve-racking nile-biting finish. He has had a very dull match so far, so here's the chance. Good time for Prince to come good too. Mushangwe and Wellington, however, have been pretty disappointing.

A game full of errors all along, including some of the decision making as captain by Mawoyo and the meandering second dig batting by Mutizwa and Maruma, but boy what a match that went to the wire with just 3 overs left to go. With 4 results possible till the last wicket fell.
Questionable use of bowlers by the Goats too, clearly Mushangwe and Wellington weren't doing the job. They should have gone back to Nyauchi and Tiripano earlier, but hey, what a match in the end!
More niail biting than that Nkosana Mpofu rescue act with 9 wickets down and Musoko and Jongwe (was it?) last wicket 100+ stand stuff.
I think we have witnessed 4 really enjoyable (at least following on live scoring, can't comment on the quality) matches out of 4 this season so far. Let us have more of these...

That's absolutely insane. I turned my eyes elsewhere with seven runs needed and four wickets left, and now this.
