Back on now
Indian and English cricket is a cult and bazball is delusional and embarrassing. Bumrah chucks it, Cummins has a shocking seam position, stokes is a fraud. Bangladesh shouldn’t have test status, Bradman was a coat.Marco Jansen is good, zim will rise !

I will be curious to see how well we execute the sweep shot. We did it pretty well in SL, if we do it well here we're in for a good day.

Really excited about today. Hope we can get through the first session unscathed or maybe one down. It should get easier to bat in the afternoon.

Not the worst debut innings by Mire. Out to a stupid shot as I think we all predicted would happen, but he and Masakadza put up a pretty good opening stand.

What I like the most about Mire is that he allows other batsmen to quietly settle. Hami got 6 overs in quietly. Definitely not the standard opener but I'm sure he will be getting 30s and 40s regularly or at least until people around the world figure him out.

Ervine is always nervous at the beginning. Hopefully he pulls through

Side note, can Tino and Vusi be in the commentary team whilst there is first class action going on? Unacceptable for me. But I guess this pays more

I was going going to say good point about those two commentating when FC games were being played but you answered. I don’t want to see anyone sweeping if this track retains its bounce, that’s a recipe for disaster.
What a dumb shot from Solly, he was looking like a million dollars. What an exciting guy to watch, he’s got good touch as well, two shots where he opened the blade slightly to drive it behind point were top drawer.
Ervine looks shaky and is closing himself off a bit, that’s lbw territory when you’re not seeing it well. Holding thumbs, exciting stuff. Pull ‘Babwe!!!

Runs have really dried up need to start looking for singles to rotate strike
