Unsure how to react to this. On the one hand Bob is out, but on the other its not via the democratic process that we desire.
From what i understand Emmerson Mnangagwa is just as responsible for the decline in Zimbabwe.

At the very least, a coup means his wife won't be leading the next dynasty.

After all that's what all this is about. Too many people have been biding their time, doing time in ministerial positions, etc etc, for far too long just to see Grace assume power.

Yes, the potential of this is possibly the only clear positive, and everything else is a complete lottery at this stage.

The Mountaineers vs Stars game has begun on time at HSC. So if a cricket game can progress, can we assume that things are in decent shape as of now?

I really don't know what's wrong with some Zimbabweans.

First they supported a Trade Union movement fully funded by the West, capitalists and very same exploitative abusive farmers and employers plus led by an ugly semiliterate womaniser they had assaulted.

Mbeki would have none of it because SA wouldn't have any of it.

Now they are suporting army rogues aligned to a highly flawed and legitimately fired Deputy President. This is all happening at a time when SA is faced with a DP who is fully funded by the West, same exploitative abusive racist capitalists. He too being their ugly stooge. But crucially, he's backed by rogue retired army generals and elements paid handsomely by the regime change agents.

No way SA will stand for this.

Zimbabweans in SA must pray Ramaphosa wins, because after this stunt by Mnangagwa linked Chiwenga, SA under Nkosazana, and the AU in general won't give a hoot about Zimbabweans. Even more so as soon as Mugabe dies.

Just like cricket in Zimbabwe, I see not much life for the country after this.

Yes there are conflicting reports about what's truly happening, but whatever the case might be, I tend to believe army is at least flexing its muscles for factional political reasons.

Zimbabweans never really had a genuine reason to revolt in their masses before. Now is the time else they risk open isolation.

Why those in SA aren't more vocal and active in condemning what is or could develop - considering they are most at risk is beyond me.

You only need to look at how West linked Ian Khama still treats even antiZANU-Mugabe people in Bots. Nobody cares, you're just pawns. Educated and naïve pawns?
You support the EFF, you literally have no clue on how economics work, either that or your judgement is blinded by a deep hatred of whites. I personally just think the latter. Seek help, Julius.

hhm, Zimbabwe's GDP is worse than basket cases like Honduras. Change had to happen at some point.

This statement alone is reason enough to confirm that pariah is unstable, and perhaps deserves to be locked up by the army generals too

So the latest seems to be:
- Grace has been exiled to Namibia
- Mugabe to have a press conference (tomorrow?) to step down and announce Mnangagwa as his successor.

You have to give credit to Mnangagwa, if this pans out the way it looks like it will - this will become the textbook hostile takeover.

Did a little bit of reading and apparently he’s a supporter of the white farmer plight.

That can only be good news for both Zimbabwe the country and cricket.

Good lord, you will believe anything.

Mugabe has faced genuine opposition since day one, he of course massacred thousands in Matabeleland to solve it early on. After his years of falsely trying to paint all opposition to his rule as a western conspiracy, it is quite ironic to see him overthrown by his fellow comrades with no western intervention or support whatsoever. The very same people you support pariah have turned on their own, perhaps you're next?

He has western interest contrary to what people believe. I have a friend who works at the British Council who has been telling me for over a year now that all the western embassies wanted him to take over. he has given speeches at white farmer gatherings in the recent past. also has strong Chinese links.. military links. like it or not he will probably take over
