Zimbabwe A has won the toss and elected to field first.
Playing XI

Zimbabwe A
Zhuwao, Chamu, Tarisai, Burl, Maruma, Masvaure, Chakabva, WP Masa, Vitori, Mpofu, Ngarava

Hmmm the captain missing from his team. 4 bowlers guessing Chamu, Burl, Masvaure will make up the difference.

Ryan Murray?! The kid is touted as a future option with the gloves and we give them to Chakabva who has shown he has incredibly hard hands.

Looks like Nathan Waller has well and truly fell off the radar, having been selected in the test squad to face Sri Lanka a few months back. Shame

Waller has been smashed around with the ball in the last 12 months. Would be a scandal if he was anywhere near this side.

Murray may be staying on with the squad to UAE apparently, some concerns over Taylor's back.

Not List A, as expected. Cricinfo has full fledged descriptive commentary!

Captaincy to Masvaure in the absence of Tiripano? I would have thought Regis since he is anyway there. Or blood a future skipper in Musakanda too...

6 overs on the trott these boys must be seriously fit despite the long lay off

7 for Vitori to start with, no wickets but kept it fairly tight

Oh yea I know. He's been under used, though, massively in List A cricket. He seems to have been able to hold his own with the bat more but his bowling has seriously tailed off. I just want to see some Keegan Meth type players for our ODI side. Not necessarily quick but somebody who can keep it tight and contribute at number 8 and 9 to back up the lower order. That's why I rate Tiripano

And with Masvaure also playing and likely bowl, we have 3 left arm pacers in the XI! I doubt Zim domestic scene ever had 3 in the same season let alone same match...
