We will drop Waller, he will perform in some A-game, and then we will think Waller has changed. It is a vicious cycle where we keep expecting guys to change.

I don't think there is too much harm from having Cephas in the T20 team. Even with your measured expectations Eugene, the guy is as likely as anyone to hit 27 off 14 down the order.

I guess he is worth a shot down the order. Can't do much worse in T20s than our usual bunch.

But I think we have seen enough. It is high time to cast him aside like Vusi and Chigs.

HAS M WALLER ever scored a century of 42 balls
Give the man a chance - Zhuwao deserve a shot..
So people are just content in seeing Craig Ervine playing ridiculous cricket...

Batting lineup
Mire
Zhuwao
Hami
BT wk
Raza
Musakanda
Waller / Craig / PJ Moor??? No one cares

Wow what an innings

A few things to take into consideration

An innings like this can’t be ignored Taibu & Streak must at least be talking about Zhuwao

If he’s going to play it has to be in Dubai, the qualifiers are too late to experiment

1 swallow doesn’t make a summer I know he got that 265 as well but there are his first two centuries in his career, likewise for Burl & Tari I’m not taking too much notice of their innings.

I can’t imagine many people here have actually watched him play either so maybe we shouldn’t be too critical of selections made by people who actually watch the games.

Personally I didn’t think he was international quality going off what I’ve heard from people on the ground, but how often does a Zimbabwean batsman score a century off 42 balls ? No often so I wouldn’t be against giving him a ticket to Dubai

The man deserves a shot , give him the license to play his natural game and back him . You cannot ignore a score like that and blokes like waller have failed to many times . Can only make runs against who’s in front of you and clearly is making the most of it . Serious hitting no matter the opponent

I know him and have seen him play over 50 times. He has a tremendous amount of talent, like it’s ridiculous how well he sees the ball, but he has the brain of a swallow. When he gets going it’s almost impossible to stop him. Very much worth the risk in my opinion.

Somebody on ground zero who knows him personally and has given an honest assessment. That's good enough for me, get him in the mixer!!

I just cannot understand how Waller gets selected. Must be demotivating for players performing in domestic cricket. I'm sure others could average 19 with the bat and take one wicket every 6 or 7 matches.

How he gets in ahead of Mutumbodzi baffles me.
