Looking forward to another masterclass from Zhuwao. Mutombodzi should be getting some game time as well.

It’s dark and we’ve had heavy rain for hours, welcome relief as we’ve had one of the driest Januarys ever, the crops are in dire straits. Weather reports suggest a very wet February. Great opportunity to get back on my soapbox- most games are usually rain interrupted over these two months, we need Winter Cricket, especially for the schoolboys.

So obviously today’s play is unlikely but do you think the qualifiers will be effected ?

I was chatting to a couple of farmers on the weekend and they told me February was going to be wet. These days the long term forecasts are fairly accurate.
