I'd love to see 5-0 from the Afghan boys, but if history tells us anything, it is going to be 3-2 to the Afghans who will once again fail to score 300 in any innings no matter how flat the pitch or how loose the bowling. But the bowling looks very strong especially with Mujeeb's mystery spin.

Pace , confident Jarvis , Chatara , blessing and maybe even Vitori with support from
Cremer and Raza will choke them and take key wickets at big moments . I really am

Bangladesh considers themselves too much talented by " mouth" and always considers themselves equivalent to India/Pakistan instead of doing the work

India? Nah. No one can compete with the Indians in terms of talent production, at least in batting. Not even Australia or South Africa.

Pakistan blow hot and cold. Right now they are cooler than Bangladesh, I would say, as they have been most of the past 3 years. The Champions Trophy was an outlier. If anyone recalls, Pakistan were the lowest seed in the CT making their win all the more remarkable.

Well we certainly let our mouth do the talking, lol. If you look at where we were 25 years ago - we were losing to Bermuda, the Netherlands, and the UAE - we've made faster progress than any other team apart from maybe Afghanistan. I know most of the critics' memories start in the early 2000s and they wonder why its taken Bangladesh so long to compete, but 25 years ago, Bangladesh were where Scotland are now. Imagine 25 years from now Scotland are beating India or Pakistan in Test matches at Edinburgh. Actually we never got the luxury of playing in World Cricket Leagues or the Intercontinental Cup or even a qualifying round of a World T20 every other year. I think thats quite impressive.

Bangladesh should be considered themselves " lucky " enough that they don't had to rubb off in those less attractive ICC leagues
which takes enough time for a team to come through main stream cricket. Teams playing in ICC Leagues, faces test playing nations for much lesser number of times, as a result captains of those teams still complains ICC about not facing strong teams to improve their games, Bangladesh after their status always had the opportunity of playing against strong teams since 2000, in all the formats, it was lack of talents that they took so much time, and now they have come hitting opponents more with mouth then with skills.

ICC trophy concept which Bangladesh won, and was promoted for 1999 World Cup and Test status as been stopped by ICC, otherwise we might have seen sides like Netherlands, Scotlands & Ireland in main stream cricket lot earlier.

Sri Lanka are now simply making fun of Bangladesh with their skills in test after odi tri nation series win,even in a flat road like pitch

I am not as excited about this series mainly because of the selection. They brought back 45 years old Karim Sadiq along with his useless 165 cm tall "fast" bowler Aftab Alam. They are serial loser and serial shit performers, but they have good connections and family/friends in cricket board. Add to that the useless Captain Asghar fuckingzai who is still captain altough he averages 20 with strike rate of 60 from 80+ games

Instead more players from the u.19 teams should been selected.

Anyway the only way we gonna win is if Zim chokes against Rashid Khan and Mujeeb - They have never faced Mujeeb, so might struggle initially.

Add to that Nabi who is a fine bowler himself. Hamid Hassan is also selected, but he is a shadow of his former self and maybe not even fit to play. If he is fit he is the best pacer in Afghanistan or was the best. Don't know how good he is these days. Last I saw him was years ago.

Mo Shahzad is also back, so we at least have 1 player in the team that can bat. Rest are utterly rubbish.

ODI we will struggle I think. Only Rashid can save us.

In a way I hope we get beaten both in ODI and T20, so to force selectors to bring big change - get rid of Asghar and get rid of the culture of selecting family members. So it's a win win from my point of view either way.
