[Match Thread] 3rd ODI: Zimbabwe Afghanistan
Re: [Match Thread] 3rd ODI: Zimbabwe Afghanistan
I’m honestly sick of seeing Chisoro on the bench ! In all games, spinners have gone at minimal rates, yet we continue to play 3 specialist seamers. I don’t trust Blessing at all, if you’re really gonna play 3 seamers, it has to be Chatara, Jarvis, and Vitori. Chuck Chisoro in for Waller or Burl and that’s us set. Throw Williams back in as well for Waller/Burl (whoever remained) and there’s our best team.

Too much bowling not enough batting if Chisoro bats @7 broFlakeman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 5:41 amI’m honestly sick of seeing Chisoro on the bench ! If we could rely on our top order than yes it would be great but we can’t

the tail does feel very long at the moment
Re: [Match Thread] 3rd ODI: Zimbabwe Afghanistan
Williams is crucial for an 8-3 to work because of his bowling.
Usually Zim doesn't change a winning line-up so I doubt there will be changes. If either Burl/Tari have to bat that low then I think Tari would do a decent job. I think at this stage we have to stick with Waller because if PJ is on the bench and Raza is batting higher then nobody else can do the finishing.
Ervine will come good now that pressure at 3 is gone. I demanded at least a century from our too batsmen (Taylor, Ervine,Raza,Hami). Taylor delivered, Raza almost,Hami unlucky. Ervine didnt look like he knicked that too..So I'm expecting Hami and Ervine to push today.
Taylor played exactly how I expected him to play against Afghanistan. He has the skill set to dominate them. It was the attitude that was needed. There are only 2 bowlers there we should watch carefully. I honestly don't know why this team has struggled against them. I watch someone like Shehzad keep and he is worse than PJ. He is just a slogger probably in the same category as Zhuwao with opportunities. These guys really shouldn't be giving us nightmares. There are about 3 players there who I would say are really good. The rest are no better than our boys.

And everyone was calling for Williams' head!
I was one of the few here wanting his inclusion.
I'm hoping for another Taylor masterclass today, or at least from somebody. If one of our batters comes off the way BT did on Sunday, we'll post a match winning total.
