There are only a few key players and coaches that hold this sinking ship together, do they not realize how much power they have. If the 20 or so people that I’m talking about just stand firm and go as a group to the SRC and the Minister with a proper plan and act in unison ZC have to capitulate. If this does happen (and it’s not looking promising unless everyone ups their game) then ZC will be looking st all sorts of compromises and promises, again if this happens there must be no compromise.
12 Board members!! WTF!! That’s more people than the American Senate. It’s bloody disgrace.

And I’ll bet the “opposition” aren’t for one second thinking “we only need 5 people to run the show, they’ll be rubbing their hands together thinking we need to find 200 of our shamwaris to replace the incumbent 200 because it’s our turn.
We need some cool heads and real leaders right now.

Trying to make heads or tails of all this. So if the ZC board is f^*ked, which is made up of "chairpersons of the provinces" these are f^&ked as well. So its a rat race we cant escape from. Mliswa threatening to start a parallel body to run the sport in the country. It all seems like everyone wants a piece of the pie. A sit on the board is just too lucrative and everyone wants to sink their hands in the honey pot at all cost. One cant help but wonder who will the winner be at the end of the day. The game or the "new" directors. You would think with the Pakistani at the helm, moneys wont be siphoned as easily.

But for once Makoni seems to be saying the right things, can they deliver though

They have to channel most of their resources into the Academy? Fuck me. Firstly that’s not a lot of resources in that case, and secondly that may be the weakest Academy side possible, so why waste the money?

All fired personnel are free to re-apply? What the hell is the point of all of this?

They have a new technical team in mind?
This is only two months away, when are they going to announce this mystery coach that is going to miraculously turn our fortunes around?

How can anyone take these muppets seriously?

And the resumption of our domestic league I await with breathless anticipation- with which players may I ask?

Sending this Academy side is a complete waste of time. It could go to SA for a tenth of the price. In theory they should be able to join the academy here and play local clubs and the odd pick up franchise side. Oh wait... we don’t have an academy here and we don’t play much club either. They’re firing Taibu for incompetence out of the one job (which he’ll probably get back tomorrow) but then banking on him to produce dozens of quality players for us over in England? Is he fucking useless or isn’t he? Make up your minds. Bear in mind they decided Taibu did a shit job as a selector because he wasn’t here, so pray tell me how he picked this Academy side when he wasn’t here either? And to pick a side which they claim is using up most of their resources. There’s maybe two or three guys there that can play. They’re probably over there right now playing. It’s just mind blowing.
I need to throw in the towel, there is not one person in that entire set up that can see the problems, what needs to be done and how to do it.

Or pick the 3 guys that have slightly more than a snowball’s chance of making it and send them to the Kirsten or Lehman academy for proper coaching and use the balance of the cash to pay some players and buy some balls.

Just read an article saying the ICC could take a decision on whether we get a bailout or not within 2 weeks. Thats probably their trump card. If they get that then all the noise will go away.

It leaves in a difficult position because the question is then are willing to risk getting suspended and lose a bailout opportunity all because we cant wait another year? Without that bailout money the board which takesover no matter who they are will struggle financially. That debt costs us millions every year. I know its their fault but now we have to think about the future. We need that ICC bailout otherwise we will always struggle.

Steady Makoni one idea at a time son!
Greg Lamb u19coach
Walter C Zim A coach
SHepHard National coach

Makoni has an ulterior motive, his son will get a chance to play Zim national team amongst the chaos.

Also "like other zim companies"??? WTF how many other zim companies are given $24m US dollars a year. What's insulting is he thinks we are stupider than he is. :o :o
