That’s got to be one of the easiest jobs going, surely? You literally only have to cover a handful of games each year because we hardly play! :D

I cover all domestic cricket as well and produce material for a yearbook, so I have work to do all year round. But, like many others, my job is in danger now with the financial crisis.

Sorry to hear that John, hopefully things will pick up in the country and you can continue in your work.

It’s a real shame that domestic cricket doesn’t get alot of coverage. The Rhinos media guy did a cracking job providing us fans with video highlights of games and giving us an insight into some of the players. He also had an account here but has not been seen for ages :(

Didn’t the tuskers also live stream one of their matches on twitter?

Live stream doesn’t cost that much. There’s a couple of clubs in the UK about to experiment with it. For the cost of what the transport fellow made in just one day of the qualifiers we’d have live stream at every ground for every game.

Really want to know more about Ernest Masuku. He has picked up 34 wickets in 7 games at an average of 20. I think they have all been this season too. I have also noticed he gets a lot of LBWs. He is 25. Not a bad start at all. If he was really quick people would be talking about him so im assuming he must get the ball to swing a lot.

Hello, Matland. I would love to be in Bulawayo again. But the answer to your question is - only when Zimbabwe Cricket has the money to send me to Bulawayo! I have missed the last two international series in Bulawayo because ZC thought it more important that their bigwigs should be there than a guy who only reports on the matches. In fact, the answer might sadly be never, because the latest financial state of ZC seems to be worse than it has ever been, the board may well decide they cannot pay me at all, and I will be out of a job.
