Maybe that's why we were playing with 8 batsmen. 7 might just be too much pressure on guys like Waller.

There's little upside to keeping Waller in the ODI side now. We need to be pumping game time into guys like Musakanda who clearly have talent and can potentially be 10 year players now.

We didnt play much list A cricket this season so i Was just looking at the Logan cup season to see Tari's struggles and I saw that PJ and Waller don't have any scores either. Waller played one game, PJ 2 and Tari 3..
I don't buy the whole PJ being a team player argument either because at domestic level he bats higher but his average is still woeful. Surely he should be one of the leaders at his franchise. These 9 games could have seen Tari doubling his experience than us suffering over and over again from a Waller disaster. Waller will never change.
There just has to come a time when you let somebody go. We all know Elton Chigumbura can win us a game on his day. He did that not so long ago. Vusi on his day looks incredible. Waller on his day is destructive. But how often do those days come? That's why the first 2 were dropped. He should follow them in the history books because to be honest with you there is absolutely no difference between Elton and Waller. In fact Elton on his day is better than Waller on his day and these days come about once every 3 months for both of them. Raza can easily takeover that finisher role.
