Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 2nd ODI

I think so
He was very good in the final ODI in Bangladesh earlier this year as well.
Could have easily had 3 or 4 wickets, imo he should have bowled out after he got Duminy.

At last,
the Don prevents a 200 chase. Only a cheeky 199 to get

Yeah nice psychological win at least.
South Africa obviously favourites at this point, we let them get 60 runs too many. But honestly it just takes two of our guys getting half centuries and we should chase it down... if Taylor performs even to a fraction of the level he did at this ground 8 years ago we win.
Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe vs South Africa, 2nd ODI
The pitch was either settling down or playing easier as the ball got old, either way we know to keep wickets in hand early and attack their 5th bowler.
Run rate won’t be issue either so we can afford to take our time early, I feel it’s almost worth losing with Tiripano and leaving Mire down the order.
None of these guys have ever beaten South Africa in a senior international match, here’s the best chance they’ll ever get.

Open with Tiripano?
I love the idea. It'll never happen though.
It reminds me of that time we opened with Utseya in a Test match. He lasted long enough for it to be a good move IMO. If Tiripano opened and made a 15 off 50 today I'd call that a win.
