Not a bad idea, trying to get on with it. This should almost be Chigs’ last shot. Needs a score.

I love that they are talking about the Afro-Asia Cup. They were terrific series!

I think someone had to remind Pollock he played with Chigs in that series.

Yeah

Given the previous games this is a decent batting effort. I'd say we'll fall about 40 short of being competitive and about 100 short of a winning score; but at least it's something for the bowlers to defend.

The Don is a better bat than Elton these days.

Tiripano is really good. In Tests there's no reason why he couldn't bat as well as Cremer or better

Now I have seen it all. Chigumbura fielding at backward point :o :o

Chigumbura, Moor and Mire should have made way for Murray, Kamunhukamwe and Tari (if available in SA) for this match. What exactly are we trying to achieve by playing the same XI?

This is my first proper look at Mavuta at this level. He is nowhere near ready for international cricket. No control whatsoever. How does he get the nod ahead of a proven more accurate spinner in Wellington?

A slightly better batting performance, albeit on a good deck and now a poor effort with the ball. This is so frustrating man. It was good to see Williams hit some form, talented guy.
This is probably a 300 plus deck.

I’d be a bit worried about The SA performance with the bat if I were a South African. They’re making quite heavy weather of this, none of their batters are going on either.
