Who will be keeping wicket Taylor or Chakabva. I would go with Chakabva opening with Hami but I'm never a fan of people playing in positions they don't play in domestic cricket. I think that's why Mire's experiment hasn't come through. Ervine has been really disappointing of late. Would still pick him for the first game and hope that he comes through. He should really be on his last legs with Burl/Masukanda waiting in the wings.
Hami
Chakabva
Ervine
BT(wk)
Williams
Raza
Moor/Burl
Tiripano
Mavuta
Jarvis

Masakadza is retired hurt it seems, on 39. Hope it is just a case of retiring to give game time for a few more batters and not actually injury. We can't afford to go in with two makeshift top order batsmen into the test...
EDIT: Williams too retires at 29. Looks like an attempt to give some batting time to others. Hopefully nothing serious with either of them.

I don’t think we’re going to see a green monster here, maybe a slightly harder deck with a covering of grass? Again Kriterion should be able to shed more light.
I think 3 seamers max, if we’re not playing Mavuta I’d rather the extra batsman. People don’t like the ‘infamous 8-3 lineup’ but facts are the last three times we played it we were very competitive.

For me if Regis isn’t keeping he’s not in the team, I’d rather the bat of Burl or Moor instead of Regis.
Surely BT can keep and bat? It’s only two tests and if DeVilliers could do it for a few years then BT can do it for two games.
Also good to see some guys spend some time in the middle, Hami & Williams have retired whist Raza is there with Moor. Big innings for Moor & Burl if they want a spot in the side for the 1st Test.

I assume robots are unaware of commas, even so Bothwell Chapungu is a bit too racy to make a Test opener, Chibabha has had far more chances than he deserves while Tsiga has made the grand total of two 50s from 20 FC appearances, I do agree that Chari has failed to prove himself and is only in the frame because Zim cricket is a total basket case, personally I'd send Chari, Chigumbura and Utseya on a recruiting drive to see if there are any Africans living up the Amazon

Seems since Ervine cant buy any runs he has turned to some handy off break bowling. That could see him make the tea surely. sic
