What has that got to do with Taibu playing? he's playing FC cricket after putting his name forward in response to an advert for an overseas player

He falls out with ZC then suddenly he is playing FC cricket again because his son wants to see him play. Like he couldnt see him play club cricket in the UK.. So if his son says wants to see him play for his country again what would he tell him? That he has to start his religious work again?

Sounds like a hypocrite to me. Just like when he was encouraging the rising stars to boycott ZC yet when Andy Flower asked him to take a stand he refused.

I think we always had a tendency to overrate Taibu because he was the best of a bad bunch during those forgettable years. In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king, so to have a guy averaging 30 when the rest were walking wickets averaging 15 we thought he was a gun.

Not to say he was a poor player, he was a really good wicket keeper and a solid batsman - but IMO peak Taibu would not make the team ahead of current day Taylor, Masakadza or Raza.

Apples and oranges. Taibu is a wickekeepr first and foremost - the best we have ever had for that matter, then a batmans second. He was a premier batsman during the post rebel because was one of the more experienced not because he was the best, or better than Taylore for instance.

An, whats up with all the Taibu slander anyway? I have only read half the posts here but wow... Taibu was what? A hypocrite because he failed to take a stand with Flower??? As a 20 year old?? In a fight he hardly had understanding about? Jezz... Come now guys; and who says Flower was right anyway? And what does that make Taylor who also refused to take the so called stand?

What right do you guys have to judge one man's religious views as if you understand them; who did he kill? If there's anybody who's a hypocrite here it is the guys on this forum.

Did he not ask the likes of Mavuta, Kamunhukamwe,Tari,Murray and Muzarabani to join the strike in July? Arent these guys only kids as well? What did they have to do with Taibu's fight with Mukuhlani?Thats why I called him a hypocrite.

Never doubted his ability on a cricket field though.
