This not a race issue , we need new blood to start coming in, colour is not an issue.

When your debutant scores half a century opening the batting you expect your experienced player to score more or the same number of runs, good example is Taylor.

When your debutant gets 3 wickets on debut you expect your experienced bowler to get 5.

So when debutants out score senior players then we have a huge problem on our hands.

It’s a shame Taylor and Jarvis got their money upfront, pretty much they will get a game whether or not they perform.

The money paid out to Taylor and Jarvis is enough to offer 4 upcoming players central contracts.

The reality is they are not worth the money they got paid for judging on their performances
Good god please! You're making a mockery of yourself....please think bigger picture!

Debutants scoring 50 in 200 balls is ridiculous, most of our players including Donald could have done that on a Day 1 pitch.

Jarvis and Taylor are senior players with records that back their selection. Their experience to the youngsters is one reason they are contracted like they are. If they are not offered the $$$ they will go off elsewhere....and also without them Zimbabwe becomes are farce.

Rant over!

Taylor looked extremely unfit during the first test match. I actually couldn’t believe how much he’s aged and how bloated he looked. Hopefully the rust will have been shaken off by now and he gets himself fit

The truth is the big 5 have been mediocre and have been inconsistent.

We lost the World Cup quality at the back of some mediocre performances by the big 5 Chatara,Jarvis,Ervine,Taylor,Willimas
You left out Masakadza, Mire, CZ and most of the black guys, they’re allowed to show up too, you know.

If you fail at cricket you get to run it, now there’s opportunity for you.

How do you know they got their money upfront?
Plus you need them there so you can blame someone.
We need to sack all of the Big 5 and see how we go. We had years of blooding new players, and that was when there were a few to choose from.
Remember it’s not about winning, it’s just about not losing too badly or there’s no more money coming in.

I proved it before with stats that Jarvis and BT are the best performing bowler and batsman since they have returned when that nutcase Hhm was running the same narrative

Again people want to hammer Jarvis yet Tiripano is a hero despite averaging 20 more runs per wicket.

It's all rubbish, too many people here running their agendas which are more than likely race related, you can't pick one game and say he's not worth his keep, over an extended period these guys have performed better than the rest

ZC can't hold onto young talented players anyways Zimlover so the money they'd save would just end up in Makoni's pocket

Its always race related, this is Zimbabwe in 2020 and has been gradually been getting worse since 2000. Look at Muzarabani, the best black cricketer Zim have produced probably since Taibu (Yes I considered Hamilton) and look he's gone chasing money. I don't blame him at all.

The setup here is woeful. Makes me so sad and rather angry.
