Can any of the Bangladesh followers shed any light on why Nasir Hossain does get any international game time anymore? He averages over 30 in both tests and one dayers!

Also surely Taibur Rahman would be due an international call up? Stats are great for a batting all rounder
He is no longer the same. His form is gone.

We also have better players than him now.

Heath Streak tried a lot and as a result he had to get fired with a tag of " racist " and same goes with Stephen Mangongo who was'nt in backfoot to speak about Zimbabwe's grassroot level cricket after their exit in 2018 ICC U19 WC, and was also fired.

Ex players like Mutendera, Shepherd Makunura, Chawaguta were bunch of failure and mediocre brain in their playing days, appointing these mediocres in selector, coach or management posts can't make Zimbabwe improve as their thinking ability is limited.Prosper Utseya is the biggest failure among them both as coach and now 2 yrs as a selector, moreover he develops racial environment in the team. These sort of individuals should'nt be holding any post.

Streak & Taibu were star cricketers their thinking abilities were all bright. Domestic and A team games were carried in equal terms under their reign. Zimbabwe not only needs ex cricketers they need ex cricketers who weren't a mediocre and were star performers, so that right kind of thinking takes place for the development of the team.
By ex-cricketers, I meant players from the late-90's and early-2000's. I meant players like Guy Whittall, Grant Flower, Andy Flower, Neil Johnson, Heath Streak etc.

I feel that youngsters can be more spirited if some of these ex-players (with reasonably good records) get involved.
Thats to the pont. Those were the players with developing mindset

Taibur Rahman averages 40 at FC. Would he be next in line to replace mahmadullah?

Let's see. Biggest obstacle for Taibur is the fact he is almost 30. BD generally gives debuts to folks who are under-25.

But, if he is performing consistently, he may get a call-up.

I’d like to see Myers occupy the Tiripano spot.

Just as good with the ball and a better bat, with a lot of time to improve.

This is an important, very important year for Zimbabwe cricket where they are getting a lot of games. If they don't impress this year, it could mean the likes of Bang, Ire, Afg, Pak, WI, SLN will also not want to play against Zimbabwe. It doesn't bring much money and if it doesn't even bring competitiveness then what is the point?

Man Chamu Chibhabha has an ODI S/R in the 60s which just doesn't cut it at all. Today he was in the 40s. Something big needs to come from him in the next two games.

Tiripano needs to be removed from the starting XI. Even Mutombodzi needs to go but he'll probably stay thanks to scoring over 10

Williams needs to be in for Regis and Ervine in for Tiripano. Madhevere at 5 is not too terrible for now though I'd look to push him further up the order.

Here's something that might work:

Kamunhukamwe
Chibhabha (c)
Ervine
Taylor
Madhevere
Williams
Raza
Mutumbami (wk)
Mutombodzi
Mpofu
Mumba

Just logged in to see that there has been a carnage. Can someone fill me in with why Ervine and Williams are not playing?

Mpofu with the highest ODI score, Hurrah!
