Just really really shit.
Reminds me of the 2004 rebel days, where Taylor was the only white face.
Really average day for Zimbabwe

I think it’s important to remind everyone that these thieves have cost Zim cricket $4 MILLION a year!!
The convenor of selectors is on a school tour in South Africa so who picked that side? It looks horribly like they drew some names out of a hat.
I like this word clueless. Absolutely without any clue whatsoever. And shameless- absolutely without any shame whatsoever.

Don’t be naive. Or ignorant.
Zimbabwe cricket has ALWAYS been healthier when there are more white faces about. Without exception.
It means the economy or cricket situation is in a better state than usual. White players have less tolerance for getting fucked over and (un)fortunately tend to have more options when it goes pear shaped.
The more whites, the more stable Zimbabwe and cricket is.

You brought the R word into the equation there champ, not me. I simply said the makeup of the side, and the results, were very similar to 2004.
But now you've brought it up, I agree with the DOGG in that (overall) the more white faces in the Zimbabwe side, the better we tend to be. Ervine and Williams are two of our best batters, whilst Jarvis is our best seamer. Price was our best spinner between 2007 and 2012, Cremer was our matchwinner with the ball.

Sorry even though we agree on many things. You referred to Taylor as "White" therefore you were defining him by his race.sloandog wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 7:14 pmYou brought the R word into the equation there champ, not me. Don't usually agree with the Dogg on non-cricketing matters (this is cricket related though)...but yes. Whites are a minority in Zimbabwe, and generally speaking, the status of minorities (both in theory and in practice) is the strongest index of how advanced a particular system is. When the most vulnerable of a population are treated as close to equal as possible, it reflects the fact that the mind of those in power is big.
