George Gemmel? Played for Tottenham & Watford before WWI and then emigrated to Rhodesia.
That's correct! It was great to discover him through this...

Lets not try and make the questions too abstract. Keep them relatively simple enough. I haven't got a clue on who this bloke is but I have a number of images which I think people may know well enough.
Yeah, some of them become a bit difficult unfortunately because it is tough to find pictures of these people. But one of the good things about it is, we at least get to know about these people through this, even if the questions are a bit difficult once in a while. I'll try to stick to some collages on my side for now. Over to you for simpler ones :)

I agree. We've had a nice blend of easy and difficult questions over the years, with a tendency towards harder questions and more obscure characters in recent times, simply because Crimson and I started to run out of questions as we try not to feature the same blokes too often. But in this way the thread has also turned into a valuable archive of Zim cricket. When somebody mentions a name I only vaguely remember, I frequently consult the photo quiz where more infos and stories can often be found.

I know I'm sometimes guilty of using this thread to share rather obscure tidbits of Zim/Rhodesian cricket history I have discovered with the wider world, i.e. this forum. Younis Ahmed was a case in point (dug up in relation with Eugen's earlier question about Vaghmarian). But I promise, I got nothing else up my sleeve for now :)

Absolutely! And since I've also caught the bug now, I'll sneak in one more question before sloandog takes over...
