Fucking bullshit...rusty knocked me out after I was winning until the very end when Morne Morkel bowled like a fucking beast. SMH. I had him too and fucking Morkel who was always just a bang average bowler IMO.

#3 rusty17
vs
#6 Kriterion_BD

rusty17 (4.871) beats Kriterion_BD (3.460) by 1.401 points
Wow, it's a tie in the alternative simulation!!!

rusty17 (251-8) ties with Kriterion_BD (251-6)

I think we'll have to use the above quoted result as a tie-breaker :D

Rusty17s batting was as unspectacular as Kriterion's bowling. The match only really came to life in the second innings. Kriterion's explosive batting at the top of the order should have been enough to send him through, even though Mushfiq and Hetmyer brought the innings almost to a standstill for a while, but rusty17's bowlers, led by Morne Morkel and Angelo Matthews, managed to pull things back in the end and secure the tie.

You can make yourself chairman and founder of his fan club; I’m sure there won’t be many others fighting you for it.

I’ll stick to the statistically inferior Dale Steyn & Kagiso Rabada
Man, you seem kind of bitter. Did Clint McKay steal from your family or something?

Next match: #2 foreignfield vs #7 mueddie28

I'm still smarting at my defeat in the "final over" due to spectacular Morne Morkel brilliance. He took 5 for 41 at an economy rate of 2.48 runs per over from his two innings combined to sink me. What are the chances of that??? Had Morkel even taken 4 for 80 from 20 overs, I would have would won. I had a great top order, and talented, if inconsistent bowling attack.

foreignfield has set mueddie a very stiff target of 3.683 to win. Understandable since he had the 2nd ranked side in the draft.

Can mueddie do it?

Yeah, that was a special performance. Angelo Matthews wasn't too shabby either with an econ rate below 3. As a matter of fact in my simulation I forgot to adjust wickets taken to the full 50 overs which slightly tipps the balance towards rusty (246-9) who beats Kriterion (244-9) by 2 runs. Your batting performance alone, without consideration of the opposition's bowling was (as you know) the strongest in the tournament so far, but rusty's bowlers won the day.

In my simulation we are yet to see totals beyond 300, strong batting so far countered by strong bowling and thus evening things out (as in Kriterion's case). In other cases average batting has met average bowling to produce equally average totals around the 250s mark.
