When I watched Mumba against Sri Lanka in 2016 I was stoked to see that we had a guy who could click up to 86mph, and consistently hit the mid 80’s...what’s happened to him? Stopping at the wicket, front leg is now chronically bent opposed to it being braced when he first started his career. Is Hondo helping or hindering our bowlers? Ngarava has advanced and Mumba had regressed badly. Get Evans in there

How long has Hondo bee our coach?

in my opibion, and only with some exception, a bowling coach can only help you to be as good as he was. These bowlers are probably at that level.

however the bigger issue is i susopect hondo has been there at least 5 years now.

These are the same bowlers hes worked with throughout.

What the hell else can a bowler teach after 5 years? hes not a fountain of knowledge that has bih reveals in his 6 years.

we need new coaching blood asap. its not even a slight on Hondo, hes just been there too long, even if it were Steyn thats too long.

speaking of steyn, didnt he want a coaching gig? lets get him across the river and help our guys + play some FC cricket.
