How hard is it to read the googly out of the hand? Qadir's arm speed isn't high and there's a pretty obvious change in his wrist position when he bowls it...
I’ll hold my judgement on Qadir until he faces better opposition, but I think you’re harsh when you’re saying he’s ‘bang average’

Looks a good bowler

The Madhevere dismissal is the only one where I was convinced he bowled a beauty. Otherwise, it is our guys making him look good. This one was a peach.

I'm not finding it that easy in real time and there's no pressure on my couch
When you slow it down you can pick it.
He's got a big future, he's ragging it both ways on a T20 pitch

Shumba looked at sea there. You have to hang back against these spinners, unless you know for sure you can catch it on the bounce

I know we're making him look like Shane Warne here, but I don't really see anything special about his bowling. His control is pretty bad. The reason he's picking up a lot of wickets is that none of our guys are picking his googly. Against better opposition, he'll need to do a lot more than this to pick wickets.

Having said that, I may have been a little harsh. I guess I'm just pissed with the way our batsmen have handled him so far.

The Shumba & Madhevere dismissals were good balls

The Chamu & Chigumbura ones were bad balls

Lots of good balls in between that siding get wickets

If Qadir played the ODIs it would have been ugly

I notice as Faraz and ervine are in and raza and Williams are out there are three whites and one Asian again. I wouldn't be surprised if the selectors have an eight black players policy.

Damnit chamu scored runs, now he won't have to retire.

Not a fairytale ending of Chigumbura. What a shame ! Should have been batting up the order at 4/5 or even open in his latter years.
