KK would be kicking himself. That was no way to get out on a pitch like this. There were runs for the taking.

Terrible. Prince...

They batted 38 overs and gave us 100 runs. As far as I’m concerned the openers did their job. It’s up to the middle order now to score the runs
Re: [MATCH THREAD] 2nd Test Afghanistan v Zimbabwe @Abu Dhabi
Openers scored over a 100 which would have been the bare minimum. On a pitch like this though, they should have been able to get to at least 150. In saying that, they have given us a good start. Time for the middle order to do theirs.

Well we've lost this session. These two have to make it to tea.

Love the exchange between Sean and the keeper. Hope Sean shuts him up.
Shit... Sean almost gone there. Perhaps the keeper is getting to him

Yeah unless your openers are amongst your star batsmen (Sehwag, Graeme Smith, Hayden, Warner) seeing off the new ball and scoring 100 runs between them is a decent job. Its the middle orders job (3-6) to do the bulk of the heavy lifting. Always has been, should always be.

They've gone ok but we needed to get to lunch one down to have won that session in my opinion.
