Roy Kaia does look a bit Utseyaesque in his bowling action. Hope it is all clean though. He has shattered the door open for selection anyway.

He has to play now, surely. Such fearless batting and there's clearly no mental baggage there.

On a serious note, is anyone else excited at the crop of lads who seem to be available now?
Myers, Madhevere, Shumba, Marumani, Burl, Evans, Kai.
I'm excited - they have got to play in this T20 series.

With no T20 World Cup for Zim this year, this Pak series is surely the chance to be very brave and throw in a lot of the youngsters. Try to build a team for the 2022 qualifiers.

How exciting does something like this look?

1 Taylor (Wk) (C)
2 Shumba
3 Marumani
4 Myers
5 Madhevere
6 Musakanda / R Kaia
7 Burl
8 Evans
9 Chisoro / Mavuta / Masakadza / Literally any spinner
10 Ngarava
11 Muzarabani

im not really sold on Shumba as a 20/20 player. I think ZC are picking him due to his displays in the under 19 matches but looking at him he looks more like a Test/ODI player. i would swap him for musakanda to open with Taylor
that line up though looks very brave and also very correct, we need new blood in the 20/0 and to actually take it seriously

Another excellent knock by Marumani by the looks of it, did not get to watch today.

By the way, does anyone know why Kevin Kasuza has not featured at all after returning from the AFG series?
